Inside Investigation
02/05/2007: Huntingdon boro. Inside investigation on the 200 block of Penn st. Capt. 5-1 with command of the daylight box. Engine 10 operated on scene for about one hour.
Engine 10-1 goes to station 21
02/04/2007: Just after 0100 hrs. Engine 10-1 and chief Rosevear transferred to station 21 who was out on a working house fire. The engine crew returned home at 0515 hrs.

Busy day at the 10 house
02/02/2007: Huntingdon Boro./daylight box/ Captain 5-1 with command AFA sounding at 319 7th st. / Captain Glover and engine 10 reporting normal conditions from the exterior. Crew from engine 10 checked second and third floors with no findings.
02/02/2007: Village of Smithfield/Chief Rosevear with command/Squad 6 on the daylight box/ 1100 block of Juniata Ave. for C.O. detector activation Deputy Chief Shaffer went on scene and had crew from engine 10 doing air monitoring and some ventilation. Units returned about 1 hour later.
02/02/2007: Juniata Twp./ Chief Rosevear with command/ Point road for single vehicle roll over. Engine 10- 1 and Chief Rosevear went on scene with no injuries or entrapment. Chief did report hazardous road conditions in the area. At about 15 mins into the call the tow truck driver reported another crash farther out Point road. Chief Rosevear then notified county and the engine crew checked on the conditions of the second crash with no injuries.

Gas Leak From Vehicle
2-12-07 1113 hrs A single engine from the 10 House was dispatched on the Huntingdon daylight box for a vehicle leaking gas at 7th and Mifflin St in the Boro. E 10-1 responded with a crew of 6 and was placed avaliable by Command 5 before arrival. Capt 5-1 had command.
Engine Transfer
2-15-07 1433 hrs The 10 House was alerted for a single engine transfer to Mifflin County Co. 18 McVeytown while they were on a garage fire in their first due. 10 Engine with the Chief transfered with a crew of 3 .No calls were handled and 10 Engine return to the township.
Natural Gas Leak
2-16-07 1558 hrs A single engine from the 10 house was alerted on the Huntingdon daylight box to 14th and Moore st at Sheetz for a natural gas leak. E-10 -1 responded with a crew of 5 . It turns out the leak was caused by a vehicle striking the gas meter.Command 5 held the box to Co. 5 and the Gas Company placing the remainder of the box avaliable. Captain 5-1 had Command 5.
Engine Transfer
2-18-07 0302 hrs The 10 House was alerted for a single engine transfer to Mifflin County Co. 26 while they were assisting Mount Union Co.7 on a house fire in Allenport. 10 Engine and the Chief transfered with a crew of 6. No calls were handled while at Co.26. 10 Engine returned to the township, minus 1 mirror, which the Chief Engineer will be seeing again in January at the Installation Banquet .
INSIDE INVESTIGATION
2/27/2007 1054 Hrs The 10 House was alerted to assist Co.6 on the daylight box for an AFA at the Southside Elementary School.Tower 10 was out the door with a crew of 5.Tower 10 arrived and assisted Co.6 with a search of the building.The cause was determined to be a faulty HVAC unit in the Gym. Asst. Chief 6 had the Command.On a side note, A job well done to the staff of the School for evacuating the building and moving the children to the near by church for the children's safety.
