10 HOUSE STARTS OFF NEW YEAR WITH A MUTUAL AID CALL
01/03/07:The 10 HOUSE responded on mutual aid Box 2-5 in Mapleton Boro. Chief 2 with command of the Box. Engine 10 along with the TOWER from 10 responded with full crews. Engine 10 and the Tower were staged by orders of Chief 2. For the possible church fire in the boro of Mapleton.
POSSIBLE TRANSFORMER FIRE IN THE VILLAGE
01/08/07 The 10 "HOUSE" was called to the 100 block of Mt. Vernon Ave. for a possible transformer fire. Chief 10 went direct holding the call to engine 10 only. After inspection it was a blown fuse on the pole.

01/10/07 At 10:20 hr : The "10 HOUSE " Responded on a daylight box to Huntingdon Boro . Engine 10 along with units from Huntingdon , Mill creek and Huntingdon ems. cleared the call in about one half hour . Chief 5 Had the command .
4th and Penn St. Huntingdon Boro
Structure Fire
01/15/07: Members responded to a report Structure Fire on the corner of 4th and Penn St in Huntingdon Boro ( DAYLIGHT BOX ). Upon arrival of Capt 53 a 2nd Alarm was hit . Engine 10 along with the Chief dropped supply line at the corner of 5th and Penn St . The crew from Engine 10 along with Members from Department 5 mounted an aggressive interior attack, quickly extinguished the fire.
Units operating on scene from the 10 House were Engine 10, Engine 10-1 and Blair Co. Station 10 Transferred to the 10 House for stand-by.
2007 INSTALLATION BANQUET
01/13/07: The annual banquet for the 10 HOUSE was held at the station. The night started off by president Jeff Shaffer welcoming all guess and members to the banquet. Dick Barnheart made a great meal. The banquet start off with the installation of the 2007 officers. Leading the 10 HOUSE on the business side of the house for another year will be President Jeff Shaffer. Leading the 10 HOUSE into battle on the fireside will be Chief Kevin Rosevear. Leading the Auxiliary at the 10 HOUSE will be President Janet Shaffer. After all the 2007 Officers were inducted into their new offices. Chief Rosevear gave his 2006 Fire Report, which highlighted no fire loss and also no injury to fire personal. Chief Rosevear then gave token of appreciations to the mutual aid Chief's in Attendance for their company's support to the 10 House. Then all top responders for fire calls were given a 10-house job shirt from the chief. Asst. Chief Cook won the leather helmet given away each year by the chief. Little side note Brian placed the leather helmet right into service. The Fire Chiefs Award winner was Lt Danny Weikert. President Shaffer then Gave the President Award To Kevin and Susan Rosevear /Hap and Tammy Peterson .EMS Capt Deb Weikert gave her yearly report along with EMS top call responders for the year. The top responders all got 10 house windbreakers. The EMS award winner was Chad Everts.During the Evening Alice Kocik was recognize for her years of service as a first responder and also for all her help to Chief Rosevear. Auxiliary President Janet Shaffer then gave the Auxiliary Award to Pat Coffelt. Life Members and Service Awards were then presented to the membership. Last Years Firefighter of the year Jeff Andreas gave this year Firefighter of the Year to Brad Glover. Chief Rosevear and President Shaffer then gave out Gag gifts. The evening ended with a dance and fellowship. Many thanks to The Hollidaysburg Fire Dept. for covering the township for the evening.

01/16/07: THE 10 HOUSE RESPONDED ON THE SECOND CALL OF THE DAY TO ASSIT ON A  AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM IN HUNTINGDON BORO. CHIEF 5 WENT ON SCENE AND PLACED THE BOX INSERVICE. PERSONAL WAS WORKING ON THE ALARM SYSTEM WHEN IT TRIPPED.

3rd TICKET TOURNAMENT WAS JUST AS FUN AS LAST TWO
01/20/07 : The 3rd Ticket Tournament was just as fun as last two . More and More New Faces are showing up for the tournament. The evening started off with the door opening at 4:00 PM . Just like before the players lined up out to the parking lot . The food and fun started . The players started with the food buffet . The ticket pit was next to get over run by the players . When the 5th round was over the top winner was Barb Rourke for $2000.00 dollars. During the tournament alot of new friendship were made by the player . Ticket Tournament number 4 is in the making . check back for a date. A banana bingo is coming up also . 91 players for this fun filled event.

01/25/07: THE 10 HOUSE RESPONDED ON THE DAYLIGHT BOX TO ASSIT STATION  5 ON A  AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM IN HUNTINGDON BORO. LT FAGAN WITH THE COMMAND WENT ON SCENE AND PLACED ENGINE 10 AVAILABLE UPON THEIR ARRIVAL ON THE SCENE.
MUTUAL AID CALL PENN TWP . TOWER 10 CALL
01/25/05: Tower 10 responded to Penn Township for a reported chimney fire . Chief 3 with the command gave orders to put the tower to work . Captain Glover with FF. Everts went to the top of the chimney on a bucket ride .The  chimney was chained and checked with no further problems.
