The 10 house has joined PRIDE for the 1st Annual Decorate a Rocking Chair for PRIDE. The chairs will be auctioned of on Friday ,Dec 12006 at 7:00pm . The chairs will be on public display through the month of November at Park's Furniture & Appliance 708 Washington st in Huntingdon. ( the chairs have a minimum bid of $50 dollars )

Box Alarm Huntingdon Boro
Huntingdon Box Alarm 5/8 : Engine 10 ,Tower 10,Special Unit10  / Chief 5 with Command / Huntingdon EMS /1St Alarm Units /: Units from the 10 House Responded to 9th and Mifflin St The Deforrest Apt. Building for a fire in room 409 . The Chief and crew from engine 10 set up PPV in the Mifflin St stairway . The crew was then tasked with clearing the floor above the fire .  
TOWER 10 Works 1st chimney fire of the heating season
Smithfield daylight  Box Alarm 10-5 : Engine 10,Tower 10/Engine 6/ Chief 10 with"Juniata Ave" Command : Units responed to the 800 block ofJuniata Ave. Crews from the engines worked the inside of the 2 story single family home. The crew from the Tower went to work on the roof . The chimney was bombed and opened by the Tower crew.

Silo Fire in West Township
Tower 10 flying high down on the farm .
Shavers Creek Local alarm / Chief 11 with command / special request from Tower 10 &Warriors Mark Station 22 Silo Team. Tower 10 was requested to the scene of a silo fire in West Township . A local farmer had been smelling and seeing smoke coming from one of the silos since Saturday .Crews from Shavers Creek investigated using T.I.C.'s to look for hot spots. Tower 10 was used to get crews up to the top of the silo for a better look down in the silo .

MVA FAIRGROUNDS ROAD BY A.P.M.
Local alarm . Engine 10-1 ,/  Lt. 10 with Command/ Huntingdon EMS /SQUAD 6 /  Car vs Truck REAR END mva at A.P.M. & Fairgrounds Road entrance .  Lt 10  went on scene with no entrapment . All units were held at the scene for traffic control till both cars were removed and the lanes of traffic were clear . Squad 6 Removed Hitch from the truck so it could still be driven . Roadway was cleared and all units returned.
The Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department welcomed three new addition to its extended family.  The Officers and Members would like to wish all the families well with their current and new children.



Henderson Overlook Road
Local alarm . Engine 10-1 ,Special Unit 10 / Chief 10 with Command/ Huntingdon EMS /SQUAD 6 /  Car vs Phone pole mva on Henderson Overlook Road . Chief 10  went on scene with no entrapment . The 10 House units were held at the scene for traffic control till the car was removed and the lanes of traffic were clear . Squad 6 was placed available. Roadway was cleared and all units returned. EMS had a N.P.T. 
Lake Raystown Plaza - Vehicle Fire
Local alarm ( Daylight box ) . Engine 10-1  / Chief 10 with Command / M.U.P.D. K-9 Unit/Engine 6 : Engine 10-1 along with the Chief got a report from county that PD was on the location with no fire . Chief 10 ordered just a single engine from the 10 house . The crew found that wires had burned off in the engine compartment alarming the driver and passengers.
